Fathers play a vital role in infant mortality awareness, prevention and education. It takes two parents knowing how to raise a child to their first birthday and beyond. Throughout September 24-29, the Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition, along with their Fatherhood PRIDE program, is placing empty shoes to represent children who did not make it across local barbershops in Jacksonville.
